What to Do in Wine Country {When You Don't Drink Wine} - Charlevoix, MI

Overlooking Round Lake

In this post, I want to share about one of my favorite places to visit, Charlevoix, MI! This lakeside city has something for everyone to enjoy and presents the perfect mix of city life and lake life.

I have spent many summers here growing up and always tell people they need to visit.

The Restaurants

The Villager Pub - This casual dining spot, featuring fresh fish, burgers, sandwiches and more is a favorite among locals and tourists, alike. Along with their tasty dishes, this restaurant also showcases eclectic décor that encapsulates the experiences Charlevoix has to offer.

The Weathervane - Part of Stafford's Hospitality, this fine dining restaurant gives guests a front row seat overlooking the channel stretching from Round Lake out to Lake Michigan. The menu gives a variety of fresh food options, many of which feature vegetables and a variety of fish options.

The Shops

The shops lining Bridge Street are a perfect option for any souvenirs you want to take home.

And So Much More...

This little city holds everything from restaurants, to shops, to quaint places to grab a cup of coffee! Also, be on the lookout for the raising of the bridge stretching over the channel, it goes up every half an hour throughout the boating season!

(If you visit in the winter, make sure you talk a walk on Bridge Street and take a look at the lights!)
