Today is a very special lady's birthday (my mom)! I could go on and on about what an inspiration she is to me, but there are not really any words that can truly say it. Her hard work, her devotion to our family, and her elegance are unmatched. I am sure many of you have a mom like mine, and when their birthdays come around you feel like you come up "short" in the gift department.
So, on this very special day, I wanted to share some ideas on how to make this your mom's (or any other woman in your family) best birthday yet:
1. Have a spa day
2. Take a shopping trip and buy her at least one thing she likes
3. Take her out to dinner
4. Go see a movie
5. Look through photo albums together
6. Get her a musical card (my mom loves these)
7. Bake her something
8. Give her a phone call if you're far away
9. Send her flowers
10. Make her something (like a list of everything that you love about her or something cute that you find on Pinterest)
These are only a few ideas and still don't come anywhere close to what moms deserve. I would love to hear any ideas that you may have, because I'll be visiting my mom in only SIX days!
