About a month ago I realized I needed a change in my workout routine. I felt like I was bulking up, and that I was not toned in areas that I wanted to be.
I decided to to take a leap of faith and start walking for thirty minutes during every workout. Not only has this been great for my physical health, but my mental health has improved as well!
My typical routine is 30 minutes at a 3-5 incline at 3.5-3.8 mph. I have noticed my calves becoming more muscular, my legs more toned, and my abs are more defined.
During my walks, I absolutely love listening to TED talks and this helps me de-stress in amazing ways!
To add a few extra benefits to the 30 minute walk, I love to throw in some arm, leg, or ab workouts in as well!
